At Granny’s Village, we believe that housing is more than shelter — it’s stability, dignity, and belonging. Inspired by the legacy of our “Granny,” who opened her home with compassion and care, our program was created to continue that tradition of kindness by offering safe, affordable housing for seniors, veterans, and returning citizens aged 60 and over.
We provide shared, community-based housing (co-living) that is drug and alcohol-free, fully furnished, and designed with accessibility in mind. Our homes include all utilities, Wi-Fi, and laundry, creating a supportive environment where participants can live independently while still being part of a caring village.

Our vision is to be a leading model of supportive, shared (co-living) housing in Indiana — a village where seniors, veterans, and returning citizens 60+ can thrive together in safety, dignity, and community. We strive to reduce homelessness, empower independence, and ensure every participant has the opportunity to rebuild their lives with purpose and belonging.
Our mission
Our mission is twofold: to provide long-term or permanent housing for those who wish to stay, and to offer resources and guidance for participants who may choose to explore other housing options. Whether staying with us for the long run or using Granny’s Village as a stepping stone, each participant is treated with dignity, respect, and the support needed to move forward with confidence.
What We Provide

Safe & Comfortable Housing
Granny’s Village offers a safe, drug- and alcohol-free setting with private, secure bedrooms featuring fingerprint access, and warm, homey décor that creates a welcoming, dignified, and comfortable environment.

Fully Furnished
Granny’s Village homes are fully furnished with cozy bedrooms, shared living areas, a stocked kitchen, and on-site laundry—providing a warm, welcoming space where participants feel at home from day one.

All Utilities Included
All essentials—electricity, water, heat, Wi-Fi, and cable—are included in one fee, offering affordability, stability, and peace of mind, with predictable budgeting and no surprise bills to manage.
Who We Serve
We serve seniors, veterans, returning citizens, and those 60+ at risk of homelessness with safe, supportive housing.
SENIORS
We provide seniors aged 60 and over with safe, accessible, and fully furnished homes that support independent living, companionship, and the comfort of a caring, community-centered environment.
VETERANS
Granny’s Village honors veterans by offering stable housing and respect—creating a peaceful, supportive space where those who’ve served can rebuild their lives with dignity and connection.
RETURNING CITIZENS
We support returning citizens 60+ as they re-enter society by offering a safe, sober home environment that encourages stability, self-sufficiency, and a renewed sense of purpose and belonging.
AT-RISK INDIVIDUALS
For those at risk of homelessness, we offer affordable, drug and alcohol-free housing that promotes safety, community, and a chance to rebuild with dignity in a warm, supportive space.
